Love Note: “We meet in college at a volleyball tournament that my sorority and Cody’s fraternity were holding at the University of North Texas. I had a boyfriend at the time and he had a girlfriend at the time but it wasn’t to long after we reconnected when we were both single and the sparks flew! During our first concert together, which was one of our first dates, I knew he was the one.
Cody decided he wanted to live somewhere new and in 2014 decided to move to Colorado. I thought well I want to do something new also so I moved out in 2015. We got engaged on our 7 year anniversary up at tom’s baby which is a ski run in Breckenridge. We drove up for a picnic and I had no clue although I knew something was up because we were at a picnic and he wasn’t eating anything. But soon enough he got down on one knee and the rest is history!
I am so incredibly lucky to have found Petal and Bean back in 2016. I had a background in sales and had no idea what the event and floral planning would look like. Working here for so long and then being able to be married with my friends as my floral designers was such an incredible feeling. I am so lucky to work, play and be marry where I work. It has been the ultimate dream.”
