At 17 and still in high school (different high schools, different towns) they bonded over both having dreams of someday moving to Colorado.They didn’t start dating until a year later in December of 2008. They first moved in together when Ashley transferred to Sacramento State University in Sacramento, CA. She graduated and moved to Summit County for a job in Keystone in 2013, and Travis moved out shortly after that. In 2014 they welcomed 2 fur babies and Travis was finally able to pursue his career in Law Enforcement in 2015 landing a job with the Summit County Sheriff’s Department in early 2016 and they were engaged later that fall on Lake Dillon, just them and the fur babies with the mountains behind them. By the time they were married they had been dating for 9 years and friends for 10. Met on our home ski resort and was married on our new home ski resort.”
